About me and my clinic
My name is Elizabeth Ditlow and I have extensive industry experience, practicing in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs since 1972. I am also an accredited lymphoedema specialist.
Double Bay Massage Therapists is a small multi-generational family-owned and operated clinic, operating continuously since 1974 out of Double Bay in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.
I have always endeavoured to provide high-quality treatments at affordable prices to allow everyone access to valuable evidence-based treatment.
You shouldn’t have to choose between a professional massage and a comfortable relaxing environment, so I provide both in my quiet and calming clinic.
My treatment room is a unique and calming environment. You are guaranteed to be relaxed and may find yourself entering a deep meditative state during your treatment. The clinic’s location means you won’t have constant loud voices, traffic, or shopping centre nuisances interrupt your experience.
The clinic’s history includes operating the Double Bay School of Massage throughout the ’80s and ’90s, producing hundreds of highly qualified therapists from our clinic. The school also produced training videos that were used extensively by TAFE for many years during that period. My clinic is possibly Sydney’s Eastern Suburb’s longest-running massage clinic.
My current special interests include providing help to people with or at risk of developing lymphoedema, managing lipoedema, and assisting with post-op recovery via lymphatic drainage.
My clinic operates from a Federation-style house two blocks from the main shops at Woolworths/Kiaora Place Double Bay. There is free street parking available, and more guaranteed parking is found at the Kiaora Place (Woolworths) car park less than five minutes walk from the clinic. A driveway spot is available for those with accessibility needs (please request this so I can accommodate ahead of time). At just a five-minute walk to Woolworths and numerous cafes/restaurants, we’re conveniently located for any time of day.
As a home-based clinic I run strictly on a by-appointment-only basis. I don’t usually have availability for walk-ins and do not have a dedicated receptionist at the desk. You can easily book online, but for on-the-day requests call or text me.
